Being an engineer,
what fascinated you towards literary world?
I still am a student in engineering field. I was imbibed into the literary world since childhood. Back then I was just an avid reader. I never had thought that one day I will be a writer. But then life had made some plans for me and I happened to open this locked door inside of me. After so many years of reading sometimes I feel like it’s time for returning something to literary world by writing.
Being an engineer, or being a writer, what is
more difficult?
Each field has its own difficulties, but I happen to love them both. For me both have been equally easy and difficult. There are times when as an engineer it’s difficult to come up with innovative ideas. The situation is similar to when I am in writer phase, for there are hours when I just keep staring at the blank screen in front of us.

What changes do you
see in your life after being an author?
There haven’t been major changes except the increased thirst to pen down more stories. My confidence has boosted a lot and I hope that someday even I will be able to make remarkable contribution to literary world.

Passion or
Profession, What would you chose if asked to make a choice?
That’s a tough one. It will be hard to choose between both. So I will just try to sail my ship in both the seas for my survival.

Tell us something
about your story in Notebook of Romance.
Well the story of mine is titled ‘The Pristine Love’ and it is about a bitter break-up and the undying hope of finding true love. The story takes place in Alibaug, a coastal city in Maharashtra. Well can’t reveal much, for you will have a wonderful time reading it.

How close is your
story to your real life?
I would say my story is factual fiction. Love had caused the heart-breaks and healed the wounds caused by them too.

Do you believe that
pristine love exists in today’s world?
Yes I do believe in it. In today’s world, it’s the lovers who have derailed themselves from track of love. The reason is, people think they know what love is, but they don’t. It indeed takes time to get tangled in love.

Tell us something
about characters of your story?
The main protagonist, Laxman aka Lucky is projection of myself, while Aditi is the girl who breaks his heart. Laxman is the kind of guy whose love is selfless. On other side Aditi is pretty much a blunt character who would intentionally break hearts, but still be caring enough. The kind of love they were bound too was a ‘Puppy Love’.

Which is the
character of your story that you think should be a part of your life too?
That would be the ‘Dream-girl’ of the story. It wouldn’t matter how she looks or whether she is a ‘Cat-Person’ or ‘Dog-person’. The important thing is she should be a selfless lover like me.
